NFL.com league tiebreak issue.

First, we have H2H set as tiebreaker. We have no divisions, so by nfl.com it should then move down to points for correct?

Head-to-Head Record (NFL-Managed Default)

Divisional Winning Percentage (if your custom league uses multiple divisions) (No divisions)

Points Scored For

Points Scored Against (Most Difficult Schedule)

Coin Flip

Here is the problem.

The guys 1st through 3rd are all 9-4-0.

Each of their points for as the ranks currently sit:

1st - 1461.34

2nd - 1400.72

3rd - 1552.10

Head to head results:

1st and 3rd place owners played in week 1 and 10, they are 1-1 on the year. 1st beat 2nd h2h, 1-0. 2nd beat 3rd, 1-0. 3rd also has highest points against.

SO, is this the reason that the 3rd place guy is in 3rd? Because the 2nd place guy beat him (the 3rd place guy), and the 1st place guy beat the 2nd place guy.

Orrrr

Basically yes. With more than 2 teams, the total number of games between all the teams tied are considered, not just head to head between two individual teams. Team 1 has a 2-1 record, or 66% winning record in head to head games between the 3 teams. Team 2 has a 1-1 record, or 50% winning record. Team 3 has a 1-2 record, or 33% winning record.

Thanks, ya nfl.com got back to me as well. However they said 1st place guy was 2-1, 2nd, 1-1, and 3rd 0-2 (which he played 3 total games, so should be 1-2 like i said). So i am assuming the win percentage is how it goes, either way, 3rd will remain in 3rd.
