licc85
12 Team 0.5 PPR League I'm currently 4-2 in the league, and it's a 4 team playoff format. Basically, I'm on the bubble for making the playoffs at the moment. I own Randall Cobb and James Jones, both of whom went down with injuries this week. The worst part of it is, I JUST traded for Cobb, dealing Andre Johnson and Darren Sproles for Cobb and Doug Martin. I'm 3rd on waiver priority though and Keenan Allen is just sitting there waiting for me to grab. Do I drop Cobb to get him? I'm currently holding on to Percy Harvin as well, so I just feel like having 2 guys who are out with injuries taking up precious roster space is really risky. My other receivers are Pierre Garcon, James Jones, Anquan Boldin, and DeAndre Hopkins. I guess I'm not in TERRIBLE shape, since Harvin seems to be on the way back, but Cobb is expected to miss 6-8 weeks, which puts his return sometime during the playoffs. However, if I miss the playoffs because he's eating up roster space, that would totally defeat the purpose of holding on to him. WHAT SHOULD I DO??? licc85
Keenan Allen is definitely the best available in my opinion. I guess another option I have is to drop DeAndre Hopkins instead, since he doesn't seem to be taking off like I hoped he would, but I prefer having roster flexibility. James Jones looks like he's going to be okay, and might suit up as soon as next week. Plus, with Cobb out, he's going to be even more valuable. After Allen, it gets ugly fast. Tavon Austin (I dropped him last week for Andre Ellington), Rueben Randle, Rod Streater, Chris Givens, and Stephen Hill are out there, but Allen's definitely the one I want. He looks like Phillip Rivers' #1 target now. He's even listed as the team's #1 WR on the Charger's official Depth chart: http://www.chargers.com/team/depth-chart.html The Chargers are #6 in the league in passing, so he's looking better and better. ajh2
Get Allen, Cobb is out "multiple" weeks which means 2+, Harvin should be back by then.

PSYA
Injuries are such a tough part of this game. If Cobb's going to be out until the playoffs, I'd drop him for Allen.
licc85
The Packers put Cobb on IR with designation to return, which means he's out 8 weeks for sure, meaning he isn't even eligible to return until week FIFTEEN. I'm definitely dropping him. I can't be carrying him and Harvin and have 2 roster spots doing nothing for me.
