Matt07chs
Trying to pick up a Running Back long-term. Rank these 4 Running Backs in the order I should pick them up, and if I should even waste my Waiver Priority (4th) on any of them. Bryce Brown Anthony Dixon Tre Mason Denard Robinson
sweetdaddyjones
I'm looking for an answer to the same question. I've got #1 priority this week, and I have no choice but to pick up at least 1, if not 2. Right now, I've got Mason, Robinson, Brown, then Dixon. I won't waste a waiver pick on Brown or Dixon because there's too much uncertainty about who will be getting the most touches. I've got Mason ahead of Robinson because he has the best chance to keep the starting job through the rest of the season, but I will try to pick up both. Matt07chs
I agree, Tre is the better candidate to get the starting role, but, Rams schedule is a lot harder than the Jaguars. A lot harder.
sweetdaddyjones
The schedule difference gives me pause, too. Edited October 22, 2014 by sweetdaddyjones
crazyascarl
As a Michigan grad-I wish I could advocate for Denard, but I cannot. He was a crappy QB, but that aside I don't believe he's built to be a week-in and week-out every down back. But there is a reason I am sitting on my couch and others are scouting... Tre Mason did fine against Seattle's supposed great defense... so while he's going up against some "real" strong defenses coming up, i have some confidence in him I think Brown could be the next McKinnon... but we'll have to wait and see how the Bills move forward. I heard they wanted to hold him out a year so they could keep their 3rd round pick (vs 4th if he doesn't play) but who knows...
Matt07chs
I also like Denard for week 9 too. Since I'm in a Yahoo League, he has the power to be in my Flex, RB, or WR spot. My bye week 9 is a killer.
