Eddie Lacy vs DeVonta Freeman

I am having trouble deciding which player to keep as my starting RB for the season.

For Lacy:

  • Packers are a passing offense and are getting their stud WR back
  • Will open up lanes for Lacy, but they will always pass first
  • James Starks somehow ALWAYS steals a fair amount of carries

For Freeman:

  • Was the hammer last year, but reports are that Coleman should receive more touches this season.
  • Coleman worries me
  • Coleman some more.....
  • Please don't fumble, Freeman...

After the end of last season I would've taken you as a troll, but it's amazing at how closely they're being drafted. I'm a former Lacy fan, but he's hurt me too much in the past to vouch for him. Call me a fantasy owner scorned, but I'm avoiding Lacy.

Not trolling, just reeling in my decision to have to keep one of these (future) busts.

3 team keeper league and right now I am sitting with Lacy, Freeman, and Allen Robinson as my 3. Other options include Hill, Bortles, and Jeffrey, but those aren't as valuable as the 3 I listed (sadly.....)

Attempting to trade away either Freeman or Lacy before the draft, which would obviously make the decision a little easier. Feels like Lacy will always have a shadow of inconsistency and Freeman is always one dynamic play by Coleman away from losing his job
