tdybaz Posted September 29, 2016 Share Posted September 29, 2016 All are good plays in their own right, but here's why I would take Diggs: - Landry is the #1 WR in Miami, but they are spreading the ball around, and Landry makes his living inside... where Burfect will be returning tonight. They might not do as many crossing patterns with him there, or he may just lay Landry out like a used dishrag. (I know, but I'm going with the odds here, concerning which player of yours to play) - Marshall is a beast, but he's still semi-injured and beat up, and might not have Decker so they'll be able to concentrate coverage on him - C-Mike is awesome, could do well against the Jets - Howard should get lots of touches, could do well - Diggs is the #1 WR in Minnesota, which can't really run the ball well right now at all without AP. His only competition is the TE Rudolph, so they can both get a good amount of touches. Plus, the Giants top 2 CBs are going to be out, and their starting safety will be out, making their secondary worthy of being picked on. The Giants don't have much of a pass rush. Diggs seems more of a sure thing than Howard or Michael, and has a better matchup as far as injuries than Marshall or Landry, IMO. If you're going to start your studs then you go with Landry. The best matchup is Jordan Howard vs DET and then Michael vs NYJ just based on volume. And dolphins running game is horrendous ATM, plus Jarvis has been targeted at least 10 times each game. But just monitor his status he's questionable this game as well.
