  1. picked up fitzpatrick and dropped amendola. Now just to decide Tannehill or Fitz
  2. Thanks for the post Maci Lynn! I am concerned about Fitzpatrick's non-throwing hand injury and possible surgery; something I just read about. Based on research on The Huddle, I would probably drop Amendola and then later drop Santos next week to free up space (SOS, ROS rankings). Good insight into a possible Eli elevation of numbers, I skipped that part of the analysis. Thanks again!
  3. I am looking at the same thing, but also adding in Eli into the mix of starters. Fitzpatrick has the bum non-throwing hand and possible surgery to fix. I am probably going with Tannehill because of my J. Landry combo; but if I didn't have that then I would go with Fitz.
  4. I currently have E. Manning and Tannehill on my roster, with Fitzpatrick available as a Free Agent and I have roster fodder that I can use to get him. I currently have Tannehill slated as my starter, with Jarvis Landry also starting in a WR slot; hopefully to live (not die) by the possibility of the double up on TDs. I am looking at grabbing Fitz this week, knowing that Eli has a bye next week and Fitz has a favorable matchup @HOU; with Tannehill having a not so favorable matchup vs. DAL next week. If I grab Fitz now, would you start him this week over Tannehill or Eli or not? Who do you start? Rest of this crap team, but close to being in playoffs in 14 team traditional Yahoo league is as follows: WR Jarvis Landry, Brandin Cooks, De. Jackson, Michael Floyd, Amendola RB J. Hill, Riddick, Woodhead (bye) TE Eifert K Santos, Bryant (bye) DST Bills, Vikings
  5. Thanks for all of the great input Grits and Shins, HowboutthemCowboys and awesomebench. Really helped me with thinking about the trade in a different perspective.
  6. I agree to an extent with you about the Commish approving trades if two teams agree to the deal. However the Commish was one of the teams involved in the trade.
  7. I am wondering if you, as commish, would approve this trade? This was approved in one of my 14 team locals. Team #1 (3-1) Gives RB David Johnson, ARI and WR Mike Evans, TBB Team #2 (1-3) Gives WR Dez Bryant, DAL (injured) and TE Vernon Davis, SFO (injured) Team #1 states they have WR depth and added in Johnson because Team #2 has Ellington who has been dinged. Team #1 immediately dropped TE Vernon Davis and picked up someone off of waiver wire. I would be interested in your thoughts. Team #1 is the Commish.

  10. Thanks Big John for the link. I found the article that my friend was mentioning and it gives a different spin in the title. http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2015/9/23/9381431/kansas-city-chiefs-have-never-lost-to-the-green-bay-packers-at I will read the article to see if they are just trying to get some reads. Thanks to flemingd for pointing out the obvious, but you missed that I pointed out that I had not researched it yet; but that would be and OSU Suckeye typical response.
  11. I was discussing this game with a friend and said that he saw/read on one of the major sites (CBS Sports or similar) that KC has never lost at GB. I haven't had a chance to look this up yet. Is it true?
  12. I have been offered to give up Felix Jones for Brandon Marshall. Should I do it based on my roster listed below? Non-PPR, standard scoring. Have a RB/WR/TE flex position, start 2 RBs and 2 WRs My RBs: F. Jones - DAL (already had bye, may have gotten dinged this week which would nullify the trade) J. Starks - GB (RBBC) R. Mendenhall - PIT (starter) R. Mathews - SD (starter, already had bye, RBBC) K. Hunter - SF (sitting there for when Gore goes down) My WRs: C. Johnson - DET (still the man) R. Meacham - NO (WR by committee) M. Williams - TB (looks like a bust so far this year) J. Jones - HOU (can't hold A. Johnson's jock, but he got a TD this week) L. Robinson - DAL (3rd receiver now that the others are healthy) Help me and I will help you
