It is one of my pet peeves. I attempt to be very reasonable with my trade offers and offer an explanation of why I think it benefits both teams. If they disagree, a simple "I am not interested" would suffice.

Count me as another as thinking this will not work. He has always struck me as better being able to deal with kids than older players. He doesn't have the ties to NFL that Saban did, so he is unfamiliar with the mindset. I am a Saints fan so I am a little happy about this.

Entry fee was $200. However, you had an upper limit of $100 in free agency bidding during the year, which was charged to you in real dollars. I spent $91 in transaction fees, so I spent $291 total. There were 16 twelve team leagues. The championship game for the league was played in week 12, which pitted the team with the best record vs the team with the next highest score. (In a foreshadowing of things to come, a team past me in week 11 to make the championship game). The winner of the championship game received $1000, and loser received $200. Each league championship game participants proceeded to the playoffs(32 teams). Then, the next highest 64 scoring team regardless of league advanced. Each team started with a base score of your season average, and then your score for weeks 13-16. Playoff were as follows: The Draft Champion = $10,000(DMD) Second Place = $1,000(me) Third Place = $500 Fourth Place = $250 Sorry to be so lengthy, but I was trying to answer several questions(and some future questions) in one post.

I agree. I watched both games very closely, and I saw nothing remotely questionable that would affect the scoring. I would need to gain 5 yards or a catch. There is no way they will rule a catch now that was not done in the game. I saw nothing that even a yard would be in question much less five. Since we are sharing, you know the real dagger for me? In the Dallas game, Dallas had 2nd & goal from the 1. I had Marion Barber III, and they gave it to him 3 straight times. Nothing. Nada. Zip. I didn't take that as a good omen. ETA: I agree. It definitely seems like destiny.

Yes, it was. I still had hope with the score tied 10-10. It is a ppr league, so one catch by Coles would still have given me the victory. But then the Jets broke that screen pass for a long gain setting them up in FG range. Yes, I was yelling at the screen "Tackle him, tackle him!!!!!!". They did, but not until too late. Well, at least for me.

Greetings, DMD. I am the owner of the team that was edged for the title. When I noticed your emai was @ the huddle, I thought I would post here my congratulations. It was enjoyable matching wits with you even though I came up short. As DMD posted, I was up 9+ points going into Monday and I had 3 players and he had 1. It just goes to show you it is never over until it is over. I am disappointed, but I tip my hat to DMD for pulling all the right moves and winning the title. Congrats again DMD and enjoy your title and your winnings. You earned it.
