  1. I have been burned this season in more than one league with guys like Bulger, Stephen Jackson, Todd "Hammy" Heap, Andre Johsnon, Maroney, Leinart and Rudi. This has definitely been a fantasy year to forget thanks to injuries.
  2. At the time of the league's initial draft he was coming off a rookie season where he led the entire NFL in rushing in the second half of the season. Unfortunately that once bright future seems about as meaningful in 2007 as David Carr's Texans spamshirts sales.
  3. I agree with Lewis. This guy was a supposed "defensive genius" and the only things the Bengals have done well under his tenure is play on offense.
  4. 100% agree. Trades are part of the fun of fantasy sports!
  5. I think the first offer you sent was insulting in the sense that it offered him little value in return for the #1 player drafted in almost all leagues. His response to your offer was much more fair than your offer. I would not personally still be having an argument with anyone several weeks after a turned down trade proposal though. At this point its beyond moot as Delhomme is out for the year and LT is back to being LT.
  6. I am loath to trade him if he can stay healthy but the kind of injury he sustained is one of those possible career killers. I will hold onto him for now. The Stephen Jackson suggestion was a good one though, the team with him in our league is very strong at RB. Its worth a shot inquiring about a trade.
  7. I have a trade offer for Jones in my keeper league. My team is rebuilding around a core of Bulger, Steve Smith, Calvin Johnson and Heap. My running backs are Kevin Jones and (sigh) Tatum Bell. The initial draft of this league was two years ago which is why I am saddled with Bell and Jones on keeper contracts. Looking longterm with Jones and his Lisfranc injury to his foot is his longterm value worth keeping and hoping he recovers? Or is it time to cut bait and get what I can for him? He plays in a high octane offense as the clear starter but that injury and its implications makes me cringe. Thoughts?
