  1. I don't think you'll sleep very well until Sunday night. You're not going to feel too great about benching LT, but I can see rolling this way in such a scenario. That's exactly how I usually shoot myself in the foot, but hell, it's fantasy football, poopy happens. If you could reply to my similar dilemma I'd appreciate it: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=266784
  2. So the choice is S.Jax home against the Cowboys, Jamal @ Washington or Forte home against the Vikings? Thx for any feedback and good luck!
  3. Yes, if you don't do this trade, please join any league that I'm in.
  4. Are you kidding me?!? Take one look at your roster and this is a no-brainer. Score Williams and don't look back. You have to give value to get value sometimes. I like Johnson a lot too, but you have a greater need for Williams.
  5. Trade seems like a wash to me at this point. Obviously, in a keep league you'd take Johnson, but Willie Parker is the more established commodity.
  6. Thanks for the feedback and yes I'm bumping this. Frankly, I'm on the verge of pulling the plug on SJax already. You're right Forte is @Panthers. I'll probably stick with Steven for one more week, as it's the Ram's home opener, they just got killed, and it looks like this pathetic organization's Super Bowl game, as well. Sorry, I'm in a partial keeper league so I've been stuck with this guy ever since I drafted him as Marshall Faulk's handcuff. Signed, Fed up Steven Jackson fan.
  7. Insuffient data and too many variables to make an accurate call here. I like your Royal, Morris, and Hightower picks. I'd be more interested in some of the Saints WRs than Antwain Randle El, who's a proven hit big or get nothing performer. I'd much rather pick up Robert Meachum, among others.
  8. 10 team league where everyone carries 4 RBs and start 2. I have #1 S-Jax @home vs. Giants, #2 Jam @home vs. Steelers, #3 Edge @home vs. Dolphins, #4 Forte @home vs. Vikings. I'm leaning toward sticking with S-Jax and Edge this week, who I started in week 1. Let me know if I'm you disagree.
  9. I'd say the stiff's season is over. He should dedicate himself to a conditioning program, and try to open communication's with the NFL offices now to find out what he has to do to be reinstated. There isn't much demand for career nonachievers with personal problems. Who knows he might be able to catch on with a team around midseason if he keeps his nose clean.
  10. I agree that now is not the time to dump V. Davis. I would hold onto both TEs since nothing disastrous has happened to your WRs yet. Patten's value has already been well established: He's a #3 receiver who probably still won't find his way onto the field for more than 50% of the plays. Meanwhile, V. Davis is still young, and has a reputation as a career underachiever stuck in a horrible situation. I would hold onto him, as Mensa Mike Martz probably has devised some evil schemes for him. It wouldn't surprise me to him score a rushing TD this season. Sit tight and see what transpires.
  11. I pick #3 on the WW order. I've decided I'd like to pick up Cassel and dump Hasselbeck. However, I'd also like to pick up Royal. The problem is there's no way either of these guys is going to last all the way through the waiver moves, so I can either get one or the other. What the guys with moves #1 and 2 do is irrelevant, but at least one of them is unlikely to take Cassel (Schaub is his back up). Which move should I put first on my desired transaction list. Kitna and Rodgers are both also available right now, so I think I can wait another week to make a QB move and just start Rivers. Thanks for any input.
  12. This is easy. Leave out Lee Evans, as you'll get great opportunities with all of these guys, but Lee has games left against the AFC East. You should leave off Royal otherwise, but I wouldn't recommend it. I don't think you can make a mistake here, which IS a nice problem to have.
