  1. Concur. I pulled him in favor of Reggie Bush. The Bills could stack 11 in the box vs this offense. They are that damn bad.
  2. In finals for league championship and request assistance, as sortable projections will apparently not be available until Thursday evening after waiver wire closes. Two questions: Who to start and possibly, who to pick up on waiver wire: League is standard non-PPR league-with 1 QB, 2 RB's, and 3 WR/TE, 1 kicker, 1 team defense. No pts for receptions. 4 pts for TDP's, 6 pts for TD runs and TD catches, 6 additional pts for TDs > 50 yds, plus yardage for all skill positions. Please pick from the following: Start 1 QB: Own Romo and Grossman (Flynn & Webb available) Start 2 RB's: Own Mendenhall, Benson, McGahee, Blount, (K. Bell available) Start 3 WR's/TE's: Own Megatron, B. Marshall, J Nelson, Harvin, Heyward-Bey, and A. Brown (Reggie Wayne available as free agent) Thank you very much for your thoughts, WHU
  3. If he stays healthy, Alexander might be a difference maker for you. In the last 3 weeks, Bradford has thrown for 6 touchdowns and 792 yds passing to some very pedestrian receivers. Alexander has far greater upside than other Ram alternatives, and will easily outperform them if he can stay on the field. So long as you have future add/drops availalble in the likely case he goes down injured once again, you could be looking at a Top 35 Rest of the Season Rankings-WR. I certainly like his potential more than that of Bess, Breston, Amendola, Gaffney, and Thomas. Winning the crown in FF is all about taking bold risks on players that have huge upsides. At this point, Alexander is a risk worth taking.
  4. As noted earlier, like Amendola and Gibson, Robinson is incapable of gaining separation from defenders. Like the others, he'll get some looks, catchs, and yards, but he's certainly not worth writing home about.
  5. I'm from the Lou, and here's my take. Alexander is the ultimate boom-bust player. One year removed from college, the man has already had 5 operations. With that said, the rest of the Rams receiving corp (Amendola, Gibson, Robinson) are a pack of possession-type receivers that rarely get separation. With Jackson now ailing, the Ram offense centers around Bradford and the passing game. If healthy, Alexander is capable of supplying the vertical threat the Rams desperately need. But health is the key issue here. In summary, Alexander is probably a good risk if an owner has unlimited drops, and can make roster changes during the play-offs. Less viable if future options are limited. I'd prefer him over most of the FA WR's currently available that are mere roster fodder.
  6. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Should I be concerned picking up Hill...afterall, he is coming back after being out several weeks with a fractured arm? I never will understand football injuries....8-10 weeks with turf toe and two weeks with a fractured arm...go figure....
  7. Replacing Romo and now Stafford. Have Freeman for this week, but I'm looking for a back-up for the remainder of the year Chose from the following list of free agents for the back-up for the remainder of the year: Campbell-Oak Gradkowski-Oak S. Hill-Det. T. Collins-Tenn Moore-Car McCoy-Cle Hasselback-Sea Thanks!
  8. Is there an on-site column yet on players to target for the play-off weeks 14 to 16? Thank you!
