  1. Read that Myers practiced today. That's surprising to me.
  2. Anyone know anything worth while about David Ausberry in the event Myers is out this week. As a Saints homer, I'm liking anything with two legs and hands against the Saints Def. Especially with the fact that Oakland will likely be playing catch up.
  3. Anyone have any insight on the use of New England RB's. It seems Ridley is the primary ball carrier, sprinkle in some Woodhead and Vereen. Earlier this season Vereen had a monster game and went back into hiding. Woodhead seems to get his steady dose of around 10 touches a game. Reason for asking is I'm desperate for a bye week filler. I have Woodhead on roster and Vereen is available. I only assume it's all part of game planning on whether or not Vereen would be more involved. Any homers have any insight??? Specifically for this week preferably.
  4. Im actually hoping Edelman emerges out of it.
  5. I jus looked up last years stats when Hernandez was out week 3 and 4. Welker went off big time. Gronk went off in week 3 and held to one catch in week 4.
  6. I see Daniel Fells as the next TE on the depth chart. Im thinking Welker gets more involved along with an uptick in Edelman's stats.
  7. I like Smith a lot. Unfortunately I don't think he'll last the season. I think he's only a placeholder right now until like someone mentioned, he gets hurt or just runs out of gas.
  8. I normally do the auctioneering in my leagues in addtion to managing my own team. Make sure whoever does it stays consistent with the countdown for obvious reasons. Being the first auction I'd plan for 4 hrs minimum. If you want to speed it up, announce before it starts to keep side conversations low so those interested in bidding can hear and you don't get bogged down with "how much he said?". And just like in a draft, stress to your league members that as much as they can help it, have someone ready to put up for bid.
  9. We do combo like Archie mentioned. Bids due early in week then goes to open waivers day after.
  10. Think it's a no brainer now, really was before richardsons knee. Matthews.
  11. We have a run and shoot option in our starting lineup which allows for 4 wr and 1 rb. My first pick in my draft will be RB for depth. I feel like AJ and AP have about the same number of productive years left in them. AP's knee just worries me. I'll have to live with it now. I appreciate everyone's input even tho I went against the grain.

  13. We can keep 5 along with 2 "developmental" players but I acquired a 6th keeper via a trade. Our keepers are permanent and no draft picks are required to keep a player. Standard scoring with ppr. My keepers: Stafford Jackson Fitzgerald Johnson Marshall Finley J Best (dev) Tytus Young (dev) As you can see Johnson is a keeper. I accepted the offer. I gave the edge to Johnson. The year following major knee injuries haven't been the best and figure there's only two years left before he hits the brick wall for running backs (30).
  14. I'd get Johnson. Basically the question is who would you rather have as keeper goin forward in ppr scoring.
  15. Both have the injury issues. Past production is about a wash. I don't see much of an edge to either. Although I am worried a little more about Peterson and the overall state of Minnesotas offense vs the other power houses of the division.
