  1. I agree, Cruz for sure. Never been a big Marshall fan (in MIA anyway). And if Moore can't go this week, that'll make matters even worse. I'd have a hard time starting Marshall. V-Jax has got some nice potential, but he'll almost certainly be on Revis Island this week. He might be able to beat em like Stevie Johnson, but I don't know if I'd want to count on it. I honestly might go with Austin/Robinson here. 1 of the 2 of em will definitely have a very strong game and very possibly both. I think Romo is gonna shred TB, they've already rolled over and given up. Having just Felix at RB will have them a little more inclined to pass too, I think. If you don't want to start both though, I'd probably go Cruz-Robinson-Jackson.
  2. Is this PPR? Until I read otherwise though, I'll assume not. I'd go with AP-McCoy.....Brown-Moss-Thomas. If Big Ben sits, then I'd probably go with Julio instead of Brown. It's sad that I trust D-Thomas in the Tebow offense noticeably more than D-Jax in a high power offense, but I do. D-Jax is largely a decoy and he's just not trying hard. And I wouldn't want to depend on Plax in any league that I have other reasonable options. Also, if this is PPR, Sproles is a nice option. Wouldn't mind playing him as the 5th option. 3. I think I'd go with Fitz and Robinson, but this is a really tough one. Since you didn't mention that this is PPR, I'm assuming that it is not. Only 1 I don't think I'd start is Julio. You've got too many more elite/stable options to depend on him right now.
  4. Ahhhh, this is brutal. All 3 of em have such major bust potential. Think ya gotta go with the starting RBs though, especially since both typically catch 3-5 passes too. Wouldn't shock me if both CJ and Mathews were held to under 70 yds rushing though. Even with Jennings out, Finley has just been such a steaming pile this year. You don't want to trust him now, even if he has the "potential" for a 6/80/1 type game if he gets the targets (and decides he doesn't want to drop half of em). 5. I think ya gotta keep rolling with Eli at this point. They've got some major WR weapons on the NYG and Eli is making full use of em. Something like 370+ yds and 2+ TDs in each of his last 3 games. Guy is money in the bank. Can't really say anything bad about your other 2 options though, I'd be very happy to start them in the majority of leagues. 6. The Bills stink and Spiller is mediocre...I wouldn't want him in the lineup if I could avoid it, I'd go with Felix. And though Smith is a nice player, I think Austin is the right play here. I'd be more worried about having all these DAL players if they were playing a good D. But they're gonna score at least 28 against Tampa, there'll be enough to go around for everyone (primarily Romo).
  7. Thanks for the reply, Cheddar. In non-PPR, I'm almost always going with the guys capable of making that 1 big play TD grab. Doesn't matter if they've only got 4 catches, if 1 of em is for 40+ yds and a score. In your case, I'd say that's Wallace-Jackson-Robinson....if Big Ben can't go, then I'd put Moss in there for Wallace. I have no confidence in Charlie Batch as PIT's backup. Not a fan of Santonio. Yeah, he's got a decent amount of TDs, but he just has so many of those 3 catch/34 yd type games. I'm fine with ending up with a clunker when trying to swing for a home run, but when your best case scenario is something like 5/65/1, I'd rather keep that on the bench.
  8. Which J Jones is that? Julio or James? I would assume Julio... If that's the case, it'd be tough to bench Julio for Demaryius Thomas, as they're similar game breaker talents but Julio's in the better offense. I'd consider benching Moss for Thomas simply due to the fact that I'm not so sure that he's the primary target in WAS anymore (vs Gaffney). And he certainly doesn't have the game breaking ability that Jones or Thomas do. If it was my lineup though, I'd probably grudgingly keep it the same way as you have it. 9. Boldin puts up too many mediocre 5/50/0 type games for my liking. I'd rather go with the home run here in Thomas. He's getting a lot of looks lately and like the other guys said, NE is gonna force the Tebows to pass 30+ times again. 10. Depends what kinda league you're in... The Denver Tebows don't make many turnovers or give up many sacks (due to their Tebow running philosophy). Then again, they don't score many pts either. So I guess if your league is more about DEF pts allowed than the other stuff, I'd consider playing NE. From the outside though, I'd probably go with PHI. I can see Sanchez throwing a couple INTs (including possibly a pick 6). PHI also has a pretty nice return game, so maybe DeSean or someone else will break a long TD.
  11. Any input? I suppose I should've jazzed up by forum topic so this will actually get some looks, lol.
  12. Bears are gonna lose this week vs SEA and will essentially be out of contention....don't think they'll rush Forte back. That's granted he'd even force himself back on the field early to begin with, which I doubt due to his contract. He already proved his point on both fronts (that he's an elite runner and that the Bears are screwed without him).
  13. If you're looking for safe or decent "floor" production, I'd certainly say that Mathews is the way to go vs Smith. I'd love to see what Smith can do if he actually got through another full game, but now is not the time to find out with him in your lineup. The decision I'd be struggling a little more over is Laurent Robinson vs Antonio Brown. I don't know why, but I keep feeling like the shoe is gonna drop on Robinson one of these games now that Austin is back. Still posted another really nice game last week, but I believe it was on only 4 or 5 targets. And if that's what he'll be getting, he'll definitely need to break at least 1 long one or have most of those looks be in the red zone.... I don't know, maybe I'm just an overzealous Brown fan too. Guy has amazing ability and has been actually really consistently good the last 7 weeks or so (besides maybe the CIN game). I suppose the Big Ben injury might be coming into play for you...?
  14. I wouldn't really consider the QBs into this... I'm personally not expecting a big game from Mathews against BAL. 60-70 rushing yds and a few catches. And since Tolbert will always be in there stealing TDs, you really need Mathews to be a good bet to rack up big yds to feel comfortable about starting him. So as you'd guess, I'd start Bryant and Smith.
  15. +1 PPR, +5 bonus at 100 receiving/rushing yds.......usual D/ST scoring, besides +2 for sacks and +10 D/ST TDs (a little extreme, but people in this league like their elite defenses to count for somethin I guess). Pick 2: Wallace, Fitz, Julio Jones, Crabtree Pick 2: Helu, Mathews, Felix, Spiller, J-Stew Pick 1: PIT D/ST (@SF) or SEA D/ST (@CHI) Thanks....and WHIR if a link is posted.
