Posted about this earlier but the situation has changed a bit. I think the other guy is getting desperate as he is hurting for a stud RB pretty badly. 10 team PPR. I am pretty weak at WR (A. Brown, Colston, Larry Fitz, Gordon). Being offered Cobb and K. Benjamin or Cobb and Vereen for Shady. I'm wary of giving up Shady given that my only other RB worth a starting spot is Murray (bench is R. Mathews, L. Miller, K. Davis, McKinnon, Crowell). I'm not sure that Vereen helps enough to make up for Shady's loss. Also wondering if maybe I can flip Benjamin for a decent RB from another team. Thoughts? Am I still being foolish for considering trading Shady away? Or am I selling high enough to make it worth it? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the advice everyone! The more I thought about it after I posted the more I realized how dumb it would be to drop Shady when the rest of my RB corps is so mediocre. When I initially looked to trade I was thinking of something more along the lines of a RB2/3 for a WR2/3. Instead I was almost blinded by my desire for a decent WR.

10 team PPR. My WR situation isn't amazing (Brown, Colston, Larry Fitz, Gordon) but I'm flush with RBs (Starters: Murray, McCoy Bench: Miller, Davis, McKinnon, Mathews, Crowell). I made it known that I'm willing to trade an RB for a WR. Buddy said he could part with Jeffrey, Cobb, or Benjamin for McCoy. Also indicated that he would consider parting with a combo of one of those guys and one of his bench players for Shady to make the deal. The bench players he has that are of any value are Vereen, P. Thomas, M. Wheaton, D. Brown, T. Smith. Shortly after our convo he offered Cobb for Shady. I feel like it might be a good deal, but I'm not sure. Having Cobb would be great, but I'm wary of getting trade-raped if/when Shady starts producing. I'm also not sure if maybe it would be better to try and get Jeffrey or Benjamin plus a bench player instead of just Cobb (something tells me he won't package Cobb), especially since if I trade away Shady I have to start Davis, McKinnon, or Crowell (Miller is on bye). In case it's relevant I've got Luck at QB and TEs are Kelce and Cameron.
