  1. Regardless of matchup, you can't bench Megatron. I'd go him, Garcon and D Jack (if he is healthy enough to play). I really like Garcon, now that he is back healthy. His numbers recently are even better than Waynes. Even with Collie coming back, I still think he puts up big numbers. Garcon always seems to be the deep route guy too, which you have to love. And you know D Jack can explode when healthy.
  2. Thanks for the insight, I was thinking that same thing but just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. Let me know if you have any posts and I will check yours out as well.
  3. Any advice at all here? I'm just wondering what people think about Blount the rest of the way, what his value is.
  4. I am considering trading Benson to get Blount. Who do you think is the better RB for the remainder of the season? I also have Moreno to fall back on as my #2 RB (Gore is my #1), so I feel like Blount might be a gamble but give me more upside? Let me know what you think, would you make the deal or keep Benson?
  5. I'm in the second round of my playoffs, but injuries have killed me at my 2nd RB spot. I have McCoy but he has been horrible. Would you pick up any of these guys to start over him? This is NOT a PPR league. Reggie Bush vs Cowboys C Jennings vs KC Ganther vs Giants Arian Foster vs Rams I also have Bradshaw and Felix Jones on my team, but I don't think I can count on them. I'm tempted to pick up a guy like Ganther or Jennings, as they should see the majority of their team's carries. Any thoughts? Will respond to yours as well.
  6. I have been suffering with Ward's up and down season (and also had Edwards). I made it to the second round of the playoffs, but I'm considering picking up a player to start this week and benching Ward. First off, should I do that? Ward plays against the Ravens. Here are the FAs that are available that I think might be worth picking up. Please let me know what you think. I will respond to yours as well. V Jackson vs Chiefs Branch vs Rams Or do I stick with Ward?
  7. I personally think Morris will get more carries and has been pretty solid in the past when he gets his touches. Thomas is solid, but they have so many weapons there it's hard to know who will get the ball. And I believe that Bush is expected to get more carries this week, as he is getting more healthy.
  8. Am I crazy to think about benching Jackson this week? I play in a league that give one point for every 10 yards rush/rec yards combined, as well as the standard 6 points for TDs. I am thinking about benching Jackson for the two rookies, due to the matchups. Anyone else have any thoughts? Jackson vs Cards C Johnson vs Browns Hillis vs Chiefs
  9. Any other thoughts on this one? I didn't start Walker. But now I trying to decided if I should go with Stecker or K Jones.
  10. I have this same issue. I was thinking about picking up Stecker to start him over K Jones. But I wonder if Martz finally will realize that they need to run the ball, after being competitive against the Cowboys last week, mostly because of their running game. But then you never know with Detroit. It also seems like the Saints throw the ball a ton, so I wonder if he will get the carries. I think right now I am leaning toward KJ, but it' a tough call. I think KJ is more of a gamble with more upside. Stecker might be guaranteed to at least get you some points, but probably not as much chance he has a big game.
  11. I am in the semifinals with a lucky win last week, but need to play better this week to have any chance to move on to the Championship game. I of course had K Jones on my bench and Dayne starting last weekend, when KJ goes off. Martz is getting to be about as annoying as Shanahan when it comes to his RBs. KJ gets 4 carries one week, then 20 the next. Which one shows up this weekend at SD? Should I stick with KJ. Or I can pick up Darius Walker or Aaron Stecker to put into my starting lineup. Anyone think that one of those guys would be better than KJ? We get 1 point for every 10 yards rush/rec along with 3 bonus points if someone goes over 100 yards rushing. What do I do? I've been going crazy trying to decide what to do.
  12. I actually have been contemplating this same issue. I have K Jones but have been starting Dayne. I wondered if it would be better to pick up Walker and go with him. Jones has been so inconsistent, and when he has his big games ends up being on my bench. You would think that Detroit would look at last week's game and decide they should run the ball, but who really knows what they are thinking. You see so many of these 2nd or 3rd string RBs come in after injuries and have huge games, I wonder if Walker will do. But then maybe he splits carries with the other RB Echimendwhatever. I think I am going to roll with KJ and hope they realize they should get him 20 carries, not 4. But it's probably a gamble.
  13. Thanks guys. I had the same thoughts. My first impression was to go with Maroney but the injury thing scares me. What if they say he is going to play? Still go with Benson then? Or take a chance on Maroney?
  14. I have 2 questions this week that I can't make up my mind on. 1) Would you start Benson against the Lions or Maroney against the Bengals? To make this even harder, Maroney is now questionable on the injury report. 2) Would you start Berrian or Braylon Edwards this week? Berrian goes against the horrible Lions D that gave up a huge game to Curtis. Edwards against a tough Ravens D, but one that is easier to pass on that run on. Our scoring system is 1 point for every 10 yards rush/rec and 6 for TDs. We also get 3 bonus points if you go over 100 yards rush/rec. Any thoughts on these 2 questions?
  15. I would seriously consider doing this. Are there any other decent QBs on your waiver wire? If you have any other decent options out there that you could pick up, then you don't have to worry about your backup QB spot. Gates is a pretty big upgrade. The RBs are probably a wash, but I would definitely take Betts and not Bell. Taylor is going to split carries at best with Peterson (I'm a MN homer and I think they should just keep Taylor on the bench).
