  1. I have 1284 points and a 9-3 record with a weekly low of 82 points and I am one game out of first place. His team is the second highest total in the league at 1165 and a 10-2 record. We have a 16-team league and you have to win your division to make the playoffs. There are 2 teams in other divisions with 8-4 records and the last division leader is 7-5. The only upside is that we have 2 games left and I play him in week 14. If I win out, I hold the TB and will make the playoffs over him. I have never liked that we only have 4 teams in the playoffs, but that is how the league has run for the last 21 years.
  2. If you have read here for any length of time, you would know to never sit your studs. You play CJ every week, even if they are playing the Bears 1985 Defense. People try to get too cute going with this is a better matchup against this defense kind of crap and most (not always) of the time, you lose doing this. With that being said, start CJ and I like Rice against Cleveland. Peterson had much better numbers against Cleveland than he did Detroit. So, I see playing the Browns as a good matchup for any RB. You can't go wrong playing Brown or Rice. So, just pick one and don't fret over the pick. They will probably have about the same numbers come Sunday.
  3. In the post-game interview, Colt revealed that he had the flu last week and didn't practice until Thur. and it was limited. Good thing they put in the Tech gameplan the week of the Wyoming game. The way the question was asked of Colt, it was obvious that the announcer and therefore the media knew that Colt and other Horns had the flu last week. However, it was never leaked. We have already heard 6 players from Florida are battling the flu this week. Bottom line on Texas this year that the concerns of WRs and D-Line have been answered. They are fine at those positions. The problem so far this year is that Colt has not played like Colt. The Horns go as Colt goes and he has been trying too hard so far. Mack sat him down last week to tell him to try to relax and have fun. Then he gets the flu the next day. Colt will come around and it should be about the time they play OU. Oh yeah, Tech was a lot better than I thought they would be. That Potts kid at QB is the real deal. He can make the throws and stands in there and takes shots. The lack of a run game hurt them. Texas is a better team, just not by as wide a margin as I would have thought.
