    Car guys

We've got a 2005 Jeep Liberty that is really starting to annoy me. Last year, the engine blew at 65000 miles. That was fun. Right now, I noticed just a few drips on my garage floor. Looked like oil, but maybe a hair ligther, dripping from the plate right under where the driver's feet would be. Since I just had the oil changed, I checked the plug and all was well. So I took it in to the garage (where they had also changed the transfer case fluid) and they said everything looked fine. They washed everything off for me and I told them I'd take a look in a few days. Drips. So looking underneath, it looks like there might be a small leak where the drive shaft meets what I'm assuming is the front differential. It just looks wet. I looked around on Jeep sites and people were saying a possible pinion seal? 1. Would this area have been taken apart during the new engine process? (I'm guessing no but it might be covered if it was.) 2. Is it possible it's related to the transfer case flush? 3. If I'm on the hook, what am I looking at for repairs? Oh, and last night my A/C at my house went out. Fantastic!
