(WR/.75 pt, TE/1 pt) Leaning towards starting Tate due to potential number of touches and matchup. thoughts? smr1986
The Jax D has been surprisingly good against the run as of late. They didn't allow CJ2K or Ellington to do much of anything the past two weeks. I agree with the Tate decision, but Vereen could be a monster in the backfield with catches in a PPR. It's hard to judge the NE backfield, but I'm sure Vereen will get touches and catches. In my limited opinion, Tate is a safer play, but Vereen has more upside potential. Scooby's Hubby
Call me crazy but I am benching AP for Vereen, this week, and that is a standard league. But, I would start Tate over AP, too. Your league being PPR, I think Vereen's catches are worth good points and Tate would need a TD just to get the PPR points Vereen gets. Tate and Vereen is a toss up.
