chiefjay Posted September 19, 2005 Share Posted September 19, 2005 Buy low and sell high. This theory doesn't always work of course because the person your are buying low, ie.. CPepp or KJ this week could go on and have that worst year of his career that we all dread or that person your are selling high (ie.. Willie) could keep up that pace and have that break out or best year of career, then you look pretty foolish. Made a trade last week already, it was proposed to me and actually caught me a big off guard but I think it falls into this category even though it was only after week 1. I traded LJ for Burleson and DD. I was actually hesitant to do this, but in the end took the trade. I am worried it could be the wrong move in the end, but feel pretty good about it. This week I will potentially look to pick up some of these players, like CPepp and KJ and dump someone like a Willie Parker. This theory has really helped my teams in the past. Picked up Gonzo one year after he had a bad first two weeks, ended up with like 10 TD's and 1000 yards or something. This was like 5 years ago or so when Elvis was there.
