Eagles Fan
If I order the NHL package (dish network if it matters), would the local games be blocked out? I am thinking of making the investment this year and am hoping that someone that had this in the past can let me know.
Hugh 0ne
Local games are blocked, at least in the NY area. We get no Islanders, Devils or Rangers games via the hockey package. MSG or Foxsports carry those.
Zooty
If you live in (for example) the Philly metro-area, Flyers games would be blacked out. I was going to get the package until I found out that Comcast won't let Flyers games on the ticket in my area. So I would have to have cable just for hockey. I would call and check but if you would have games on your local cable than you will probably be blacked out.
Eagles Fan
Thanks for the info...I also confirmed this because the NHL package is free this past week and they did block out the local games.
