Simplex3
So I just picked up Martin AND McMahon off of waivers in a desperate attempt to catch lightening in a bottle. Here are the choices: Favre @ PHI Martin @ HOU McMahon vs GB Roethlisberger @ IND I don't think I like the Big Ben start in case he doesn't play. My league won't require me to make the choice until game day, but my fear is that PIT gets behind and pulls him to be safe. He's certainly the most consistent guy I've got when he's on the field. Favre darn near cost me the game and any chance at the playoffs last week with those two picks. I managed to squeek out a 1pt victory. That guy's supporting cast is sooooo bad it isn't even funny. Guys dropping balls all night long. :doah:
laborer
November 22, 2005 8:49 PM ET Steelers: Big Ben listed as probable The News The Steelers will get their quarterback back in time for Monday night's showdown with the Colts. Ben Roethlisberger, who has missed the last three games following surgery to repair the torn meniscus in his right knee, is listed as probable for the game, according to the Associated Press. Our View The mere fact we won't have to endure Tommy Maddox under center anymore is enough to make any football fan smile. Roethlisberger has the talent to do some damage to the Colts' defense, but keep your expectations reasonable for his first game back. I think I'd take a chance on Martin. He's been solid with almost a 70% completion ratio but he also has 5 picks in 4 games. Good matchup though and good chance of some big numbers. Good Luck
