Randall
Great practice player in Green Bay. Just what the Lions need. He does have speed though and perhaps Martz can work him into shape. Lions sign ex-Texan Bradford Perhaps signaling some concern over the team's three first-round wide receivers, and also that new offensive coordinator Mike Martz will want to make some alterations, the Detroit Lions on Monday signed unrestricted free agent Corey Bradford, ESPN.com has learned. The eight-year veteran signed a four-year, $7.4 million contract that included a $2 million signing bonus. Bradford, 30, has never caught more than 45 passes in a season. But the former Jackson State standout, who played the last four seasons with the Houston Texans, is a deep threat who has averaged 15.6 yards over the course of his career. He has also averaged a touchdown catch every 8.0 receptions. He began his career with the Green Bay Packers as a fifth-round choice in 1998, and then signed with the Texans as a free agent in 2002. For his career, Bradford has 201 catches for 3,137 yards and 25 touchdowns in 105 games. --Len Pasquarelli
Career Ender
I actually think he may work well as a 3rd WR in Martz's offense, but.... how the hell much money must they have tied up in WRs now?? Drafting Mike Williams last year was the oddest draft decision in quite a while.
