The guy got called out on strikes, walked away from the batters box and flung his bat which hit the home plate umpire in the head. WOW. There's no video showing him throwing it intentionally or by accident but darn. It's Dmitri Young's brother.

Yeah, I saw the video on ESPN2 today. The ump is lucky it glanced off his shoulder. Evidently this is his third run in with umpires, he should be banned from baseball.

Yeah I caught the replay about 10 times on Baseball Tonight. It's a good thing he didn't get hit in the head. Young released an apology but they're expecting up to a 60 day suspension.

They need to make an example of this guy and give him a lengthy suspension.

Exactly. Kick him out of baseball. I would push for 2nd offense and you are gone. Everyone deserves a second chance, not a third, fourth, fifth...ho hum.
