grassfeeder
Sep 20 Smith was able to do some agility drills and light running on Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Carolina's game on Sunday against Tampa Bay. The All-Pro receiver has been sidelined since Sept. 5 with a strained right hamstring and has been unable to practice. Advice: Smith missed the first two games, but this is encouraging news. If he can get on the practice field by Saturday, he might be able to play against the Bucs. The Panthers desperately need him on the field, as they've scored only 19 points the first two games, losing both. He had 103 catches for 1,563 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2005. If he can't play, Drew Carter will likely start again.
