Feets Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 I've been offered Carson Palmer for Clinton Portis. My league has us start 1 QB and 2 RB's each week. Currently, I have Favre for QB and Stephen Jackson, Clinton Portis, Chester Taylor, and Ahman Green at RB. I would really like a bit more at QB, and feel like I have RB's that are going to waste on my bench each week. What are your thoughts? Thank you. Joe12 Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 Assuming there are no keeper considerations and this is a head to head league this deal wouldn't be a great one for this year. This time of year I am usually looking alot at playoff matchups (14,15,16) when considering trades (Unless there is a first round bye I don't care how I finish the reg. season - as long as I'm in). Favre has outstanding matchups and Palmer has some tougher ones - does that mean that I'd rather have Favre? No - but I certainly wouldn't give up Portis for the upgrade! remember Ahman Green could go down at any time and Stephen Jackson plays the Chicago Bears in week 14.
