peepinmofo
I just started a job pretty much heading up the IT dept here. They used to outsource, but that was too costly, and the guy is a tool. Anyway, it is now my job, and this place is in shambles. One of the 1st things I need to do is straighten up the software licensing, and inventory this place. Im looking for an application/utility that will scan the network, see whats on what computers (both hardware and software), and hopefully will not need a client installed on the other PCs, although that isnt a huge deal. Anyone have experience with anything like this?

We used to run Asset Insight but that was kind of a pain. with Ecora there are plenty of reports that you can run to find out many things.
