Man Charged With Scalping GirlfriendSurgeons Attempt To Reattach Scalp POSTED: 6:01 am EST March 6, 2007 UPDATED: 9:17 am EST March 6, 2007 TAMPA, Fla. -- A man in Tampa is accused of ripping off a large portion of his girlfriend's scalp with a six-inch knife, according to authorities. Police said Jason Eric Tarvin and Tina D. Robinson had been drinking over the weekend when they got into an argument. Police said Tarvin attacked Robinson with the knife. She was taken to the hospital where surgeons attempted to reattach her scalp. Hospital officials would not comment on her condition Tuesday. Tarvin was charged with aggravated battery with great bodily harm. His bond was set at $5,000. Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
