An owner has expressed an interest in picking up a WR and in return is willing to give up Deangelo Williams OR Jerious Norwood. Personally I think Norwood is and will be a bust this year...But Williams intrigues me. His salary is $16 (Norwood is $10). We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, D/ST, K. My team looks like this: QB Tony Romo Cowboys (DAL) $16 RB Ahman Green Texans (HOU) $26 RB Maurice Jones-Drew Jaguars (JAC) $1 WR Donald Driver Packers (GNB) $25 WR Anquan Boldin Cardinals (ARI) $38 WR Torry Holt Rams (STL) $40 TE Tony Gonzalez Chiefs (KAN) $18 K Lawrence Tynes Giants (NYG) 9 1 DEF San Diego Chargers Chargers (SDG) $11 B-QB Aaron Rodgers Packers (GNB) $1 B-QB Steve McNair Ravens (BAL) $2 B-WR Marty Booker Dolphins (MIA) $1 B-WR Antwaan Randel EL (WAS) $12 B-WR D.J. Hackett Seahawks (SEA) $15 B-TE Bubba Franks Packers (GNB) $1 B-TE Matt Schobel Eagles (PHI) $1 B-K Nicholas Folk Cowboys (DAL) $1 B-DEF Indianapolis Colts Colts (IND) $1 MJD just hasn't put up the numbers I would like. I'm 2-0 and trying to win this thing with what I have. So I pose this question: Would you even bother going after Williams and if so, which of the above WR would you offer for him? Or is his 93 yards on 23 carries and no TD's in 2 games pretty much how you see his season going with Carolina's running woes and splitting time with Foster. I just don't think I can rely on Romo and his 29 ppg average over the last 2 weeks to carry me to the promised land and MJD's paltry 3.5 ppg is going to kill me if Romo has an typical day one (or several) week. It should also be noted that I am gonna make a run for Deshawn Wynn this week, but with a blind auction...who knows how that will turn out.
