They have and existing wireless network that as far as they know has worked great until the new laptop. The problem is that it seems to download at light speed and then just stops for no reason. I have no idea what this is. Their network is not secured at all so someone could be sucking it down I suppose but I know NOTHING about vista. theeohiostate Posted October 27, 2007 Share Posted October 27, 2007 (edited) Have them try it hardwired, Vista has same network settings as XP, It sounds more like a limited connectivity issue being caused by the wireless router or their wireless network card then a hack. If it acts up when hard wired, then I'd suggest running HiJackThis and posting your log over at their forums for examination.
