goose228
Is Gore's ankle that bad? or is the SF offense that terrible? I almost clicked accept right away, but decided to get some info first. any thoughts?
trezmal
Probably a combination of nagging injury on Gore's end and hype on Grant's end. If you're not going to rely on Grant as a starter, then makes sense to take chance on someone you would likely start (when not injured) over other guys on you're roster. But if you're desperate for a guy who can go today, then might be too risky to chance an injured guy.
Rileyrott
Gore has been injured all year, and SF's offense is terrible. Grant is the starter today, but who knows how long that will last. He doesn't get to play the Broncos every week. Like the above poster said, it depends on your RB depth. If you have it, I'd make the trade. If not, then no. Please see mine: Click here. Bushey
I would have hit "ACCEPT" with great urgency. The chances that Grant is the answer to the Pack's prayers for the rest of the season is a big time reach. I see SF getting back into a groove with Smith back and Davis starting to show signs of life. Trezmal gave very sound advice. It all depends on the rest of your roster and what position you are in. Rileyrott
Gore update: Frank Gore: Game-Time Decision for Sunday RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com Saturday, November 3, 2007 Update: Gore (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Week 9, the San Jose Mercury News reports. Recommendation: Although Gore will be a game-time decision, neither head coach Mike Nolan, nor Gore himself, sounded optimistic he will be able to go on Sunday against the Falcons. If you have another option at RB, go with it this week and keep Gore on your bench. Even if Gore does play, he's been having trouble cutting and pushing off, and playing on the turf in Atlanta won't help, either. If Gore can't go, backup RB Maurice Hicks will take over first and second down duties, while backup RB Michael Robinson will handle third down duties.
