MothAudio
Hear me out. I'm 5-4, one game out of 1st. I have Big Ben at QB and hurting at WR but stacked at RB. The guy with Holmes is in the exact opposite situation. His RBs are L.Johnson, P. Holmes, J.Chatman, E.Graham. His WRs are Holmes, A.Johnson, T.Owens, B.Edwards, C.Henry, C.Johnson! We can start three RBs or three WRs. I like the upside of Hackett and Patten but... should I keep my three-headed RB monster or propose this trade? euphy
Good trade for you, crap trade for him because Watson is Rudi's back up.
ffjunky
Yes. I would be surprised if he took the trade. Holmes has been amazing this year. My current blog entry has him in the top 10 for "quality starts" in 2007 (in my signature).

MothAudio
Considering his options at RB Watson would be an upgrade, and he won't miss Holmes with that receiving corp. If he doesn't go for it is Jacobs too much for Holmes? Or should I just keep my core RBs and go with Welker, Patten, Hackett and Marshall for the remainder of the season? MothAudio
Good trade for you, crap trade for him because Watson is Rudi's back up. I really don't see Rudi as a starter from here on out. Watson has shown that he's a better runner and much better reciever at this point.
MothAudio
I'll discuss it with him tomarrow at work. If he doesn't take Watson is offering him Jacobs giving up too much? Edited November 8, 2007 by MothAudio
onbrake
If he takes Watson for Holmes do you have a spot open for me next year.No way he takes that trade. If you offered Jacobs he would take the trade. But you would not so why do you ask. MothAudio
In our league Watson and Holmes have almost the exact same points. And Watson didn't even start the 1st few games. Withe the uncertainty of LJ his best RB is Graham, and our trade deadline is next Friday... better do something.
northr1980
jacobs is a fair trade... do that... watson is a bad trade for him and should be shut down in your league...
MothAudio
He rejected the Watson/Holmes trade. He counter-offered either T.Owens or B.Edwards for M.Barber, even though his argument was that swapping a backup RB [Watson] for a starting WR wasn't fair. Barber puts up starter numbers but does start / shares time w/Jones. Edited November 8, 2007 by MothAudio
Steelhead
I would trade Barber for either TO or Edwards. Personally I would choose TO. You have the RB depth that losing Barber won't kill you and you instantly upgrade your WR corps see mine on Driver vs Galloway here
MothAudio
I agree TO is better but looking at our playoff schedule Edwards has NYJ / BUF / CLV whereas Owens has DET / PHI / CAR. Jeezz, I guess both are pretty good!
