allthumbs
hampton went to the braves in a kind of three team trade. anyway, pitchers in atlanta do better than denver. is this an opportunity to pick up a quality sp as he steps up, or is hampton a so-so commodity now? in auction drafts is he worth $20, or in natural drafts, a 9th rd pick? PatrickL
I would think Hampton would be a 15 game winner again easily. With either Glavine or Maddux in the rotation and I'd thinke they woul put Millwood at #2, Hampton should see a lot of #3 starters this year and his ERA will go way down not being in Colorado. Espn says that if his ERA just goes down from the percentages of runs scored at coors to runs scored at turner it would be 3.98 this year, and in this day and age, that is pretty good. They should, however, take notice that Kevin Millwood was indeed their best pitcher last year.
