Hitman
Just set up a dual boot with Linux (Ubuntu). This distro was recommended by a guy that works for my company down visiting our office this week. So far it rocks. Will I ever boot up in Winders XP again?
polksalet
As good as it is, mepis is far better.
Hitman
Yeah, after playing around with Ubuntu for a while, it seems a bit buggy, and wasn't exactly stable. Of course I'm no linux eggspurt, either. Giving mepis a try right now. Setting these up on an old "test PC" that I got from work first before I put anything on my main rig. Mepis seems to be working alot smoother so far. Edited April 5, 2008 by Hitman
polksalet
I have only used mepis from the live cd. Based upon the cd vs. a hd mounted xp mepis is still better. I can't imagine how good it would be installed.
