Lerxst
After game 3, Scotty Bowman went whining to the league about the penalties that were called on his Red Wings. Apparently, Bowman failed to notice that the Red Wings had more power play opportunites than the Blues did in game 3. Apparently, Bowman was pissed about the penalty on Yzerman late in the 2nd period. I will admit that it was a questionable call, but there have been several similar calls against the Blues in this series so far, including the first penalty in game 3 where Tyson Nash barely touched a Red Wing and was called for cross-checking. Even the impartial ESPN announcers couldn't believe how bad a call that was. This is really no suprise though, considering the Red Wings are used to getting favoritism from the refs. I guess when you are a team that expects help from the officials and you usually get it, it is a shock when you suddenly do not get it. Hopefully, Bowman's whining will not have an affect on game 4 tonight.
redwings.cup
it didn't. the wings won without any showmanship. and the penalty on the Captain last game WAS true BS. the wings, and bowman, have earned their rights to voice an opinion. now, let me get back to counting the blues cups... zero, zero, zero, zero, zero, ..... Lerxst
redwings.cup[QB] the wings, and bowman, have earned their rights to voice an opinion. [QB] So, does that mean other teams do not have the right to voice an opinion? When Vancouver's GM bitched about the officiating in the first round, Red Wing fans said he was crying. When Bowman does the same, he is voicing his opinion because HE has the right to. Give me a break.
