DMD Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 Link Richard Dennis Fremer, 55, 3468 Horizon Drive, Brockway, died Friday at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born Nov. 15, 1952, in DuBois, he was a son of the late Thomas and Leora Grace Kennedy Fremer. He was married to Audrey Uplinger March 11, 1983. She survives. He was a retired machinist at Owens-Illinois in Brockway. He was Catholic by faith. He was a member of the Sons of Italy Club in Brockway and the United Steel Workers of America. He enjoyed reading, camping, bike riding, photography, gardening and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing trips to the Florida Keys with his wife. He is also survived by a daughter, Vanessa Fremer of Erie; two sons, Kris Warner of Erie and Ian Fremer of New Jersey; a brother, Lester Freemer of Brockway; two sisters, Edna Gould of DuBois and Doris Abbas of Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas "Spike" Fremer; and a sister, Gracie Iddings. q q q FREMER: Richard Dennis, Brockway, died May 16, 2008. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home in Brockway. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
