Foosball God
DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Red Wings signed top prospect Henrik Zetterberg to a three-year contract. Zetterberg, the Red Wings' seventh-round pick (210th overall) in the 1999 draft, was impressive during the Olympics in February. The 21-year-old forward was one of the few non-spam players who played for Sweden's Olympic team. Detroit Red Wings general manager Ken Holland has said that Zetterberg could bypass the minor leagues and come straight to Detroit, just as Pavel Datsyuk did last season. Zetterberg played for Timra IK of the Swedish Elite League. Should be a great player. I believe he had 12 points in 8 games in the World Championships. thumbs_u
