Dr. Sacrebleu
So my macBook is chugging along verrrrry slowly and the hard drive is about ready to burst. Need to lighten it up by transfering my 5000 pictures and 10000 songs to a hard drive. I have a hard drive to backup my coomputer, but a friend recommend that I get a hard drive to work off of, and one for backup. ANy suggestions? I use my computer pretty much only for pictures, and internet access. thanks
moneymakers
My Book Essential 1TB USB Hard Drive Are you running out of hard drive capacity? Do you need to archive some important digital documents, photos, or music? This elegant external hard drive, reminiscent of a book, is the perfect solution. It takes no more space than a paperback book. Collect two or more and they nest neatly together like volumes on a shelf. http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_...duct_id=0265389 Edited September 6, 2008 by moneymakers

Time Machine is part of Leaopard that does this with an external hard drive too. Sometimes having your OS on one and documents on another speeds up the computer.
