Guest Azazello13
was listening to bob hartley's radio show this morning, and he mentioned that the avs are looking at pairing up sakic and hejduk as usual, but putting tanguay with forsberg and vrbata with reinprecht to create 3 lines with a solid 1-2 scoring punch. he said he then wants to put more of a grinder as the 3rd member of each line -- presumably, we're looking at guys like mccammond, hinote, keane. hartley said a big part of the impetus for this kind of balanced-scoring approach is the new quick-faceoff rule. we'll see how long it all lasts, but i think tanguay with forsberg is something we might be seeing all year. sven
I like Forsberg with Tanguay, that could be a solid line. Reinprecht with Vrbata though, I dont know about that. If you put Reinprecht with a playmaker, like Forsberg or Tanguay, he will triple his production. This guy has talent. I dont know if I agree with the idea of a grinder on all three lines, that philosophy tends to slow good scorers down.
