millerx
I'm glad to see someone in a high position within the U.N. that wants to actually change the direction of this useless body. Unfortunately, it sounds as if those with their hands in the cookie jar don't want to play ball. I'm amazed when I hear people saying that the USA should concede to the U.N.'s control and wishes, when it has shown itself to be more inept, corrupt, ineffective, and bloated than our own Government...on top of the fact that it is socialistic and seems to bent on tearing down our system of gov't. amd capitalism in general. Anyway, here you go: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,419481,00.html ETA: sorry for some reason I can't get the link to work, so I just pasted the address. Gotta get back to work now! Randall
It's far from a useless body. Turn off right wing talk radio and look at what they actually do especially in health care and children's programs. Google Unicef for one. Bush had a chance to change it right after 911 when the entire world was with us but decided to lie us into war instead.
Ursa Majoris
Missed this one yesterday. We should throw all our weight behind this guy and try to help him. The UN is not useless - it needs a massive shakeup and if the current boss is willing to try to get that done, he deserves every assistance.
