gtstang6802
So I unfortunately picked Brady in the first round now I haven't had anything consistent at QB all year. I'm bouncing back and forth between Farvre and O'Sullivan. Cassel looked good against Denver and has a somewhat easy schedule and great weapons around him but is he worth picking up in place of O'sullivan? JT gets sacked so much can he survive the rest of the season? Any thoughts?
WashingtonD
Cassel is so bad. O'Sullivan is so bad. There are so many bad QBs in the NFL this year, it is unbelievable. I think your intuition is correct and unfortunately Cassell is a better option than O'Sullivan...I also suspect that while Singletary has said he'll have a hands off view to the offense, he will enforce a bit more ball control and more Gore hand offs given O'Sullivan's propensity to fumble the ball every third play. The net net is that the Patriots do have better weapons and they have a better coach and an easier schedule, so even though Cassell is a poor decision maker in the pocket and appears to have the arm strength of one of the smaller patriots cheerleaders, he's the better pick here.
