YoungBob Posted November 4, 2008 Share Posted November 4, 2008 I'm in a 12 team PPR leage with otherwise standard scoring and am hoping to get Donovan McNabb in a deal today. My QB situation has been terrible since Palmer went out and I am currently dealing with Favre and Bulger though I'm hoping for Rosenfels in waivers. Another owner has Rivers and McNabb and a real problem at RB. My current roster of RB's is Forte, C. Johnson, Addai and MJD. I offered Forte for McNabb but think he might counter asking for Chris Johnson. If that is the counter offer, would you make the trade? Thanks. ropeman Posted November 4, 2008 Share Posted November 4, 2008 With orton out for a bit teams will stack the box forcing grossman to throw (which he is wild and unpredictable). This could be good for Forte assuming grossman dumps off to him a bunch with pressure on him but given the way grossman plays i think it will be a lot of 3 and outs for the bears until orton healthy. Addai is languishing and not 100%. MJD is good but JAX is struggling lately and he is unpredictable. But... A healthy mcnabb is a big upgrade. Problem with mcnabb is that he hasn't finished a season so you could end up losing him any day now (just before playoffs is my prediction). I say don't make the trade and try out a manning owner.
