Czarina
So tonight we decided we'd do a little project. We made Elmer's glue slime. Good times! 1 8oz bottle White glue (regular works better than the "washable" kind) water 1tablespoon borax (you can get this in the laundry soap department at the store) something for mixing food color if you choose In a sizeable bowl, pour out the whole bottle of glue. Put some warmish water into the bottle (most of the way full), swish it around and add it to the glue in the bowl. Mix well. If you want coloring add it now. In a cup put the borax and about 1 cup of water together and mix well. It doesn't have to be completely dissolved and you likely won't use all of it anyhow. Slowly add some of the borax into the glue mixture, stirring all the while. Continue adding slowly until the glue begins to congeal. Once most of the glue has clumped, ditch the spoon and mix by hand. It's up to you how much of the borax solution to add. It will feel rubbery in your hands, but spread to fill whatever container it's in. It takes about 5-10 minutes total and is tons of fun to play with.
