Azazello1313
supply and demand--the demand for college education is shiftling out and the supply of education is not shifting out proportionately. I'm sure that's it, although I've never heard a university frame it that way when announcing their latest 8% yearly tuition increase. but doesn't it make you think about the government's actions in pumping the demand by making the credit for it so cheap, easy and painless (at least early on)? it seems like the true costs are being masked in pursuit of this great civic good, while the costs just keep skyrocketing. yeah I'm not so sure there aren't some instructive parallels with the housing market here.
