Steve Smith vs. Brandon Jacobs

Help! I need advice on a trade offer of B. Jacobs fro my stud WR S. Smith (CAR) whos' been a bit disappointing the last two weeks.

Basically, should I upgrade my RB considerably and rely on the scrap heap to fill WR spot? Or should I keep the healthy stud WR and use the scrap heap for my weekly RB play?

RB scrap heap: L. McClain, L. Washington, J. Norwood, S. Young

WR scrap heap to replace Smith if I trade: J. Gage, M. Bradley, G. Camarillo, J. Galloway

Yeah, I said it's a scrap heap, but what's the lesser of two evils here? I'm leaning towards keeping Smith, especially given Jacobs recent "injury" status.

Thanks!

I would trade for Jacobs. Reason being, Panthers and the Giants or run 1st teams. With DeAngelo Williams and Jonothan Stewart, they are running the ball 30 times a game it seams like. Delhomme has looked like crap the last few weeks as well. Jacobs touches the ball 20 times per game minimum. Smith only has a few shots per game to break one...

Be careful here....my guess is that Jacobs either breaks down soon (maybe already( OR, MORE LIKELY gets rested down the stretch to keep fresh for playoffs !!

i agree. jacobs is hurtings, and the giants have things pretty much locked up. so a rest seems likely. jacosbs would be an upgrade for you, but only if he plays, so proceed with caution

good luck
