detlef
What possible good comes from releasing this information regarding torture? So how again does it benefit this country by making this info public? I am sure at no time in this thread you will even attempt to answer this question. Whether you agree or disagree with the tactics, because in a free society we should know what the government is doing in our name. This is why. If we decide there are things we will and will not do, we need to come clean when we cross that line. Otherwise, what the hell is the point of having the line? "Don't use that form of torture." "What happens if I do." "Well, nothing actually, because we don't want to embolden our enemies causes by admitting that we did it." "So basically I can do what ever the hell I want and we just pretend to have standards." "I didn't say that."
