He withdrew from the running for a cabinet post because of a year-long "pay for play" corruption investigation. Was this killed for lack of evidence or just because it's "change you can believe in"? The only story I've seen on it is from Fox, where a DoJ official is indicating it was "killed in Washington". I googled but didn't find anything else other than an LA times blog. Anybody else got more info?
