dustin20
Okay so McNabb went down. I just read on nfl.com that Reid thinks McNabb could play next week if he can take the pain...now that is hard to judge as of right now. My current back-up qb is Garrard and there is nobody better on ww...I mean Stafford, Hill, and Pennington are the 3 best and I think its a wash with Garrard. This week I will probably start Garrard unless something changes...I don't see any sense in adding Kolb because I don't think he will be that great of a qb. The question is...if McNabb doesn't play this week and it looks like he may miss the following week...do I pick up Vick? He hasn't played in a while but he looked decent in the preseason. He still has a cannon and he can still run...the question is about his ability to decide who to throw to quickly and his accuracy...that remains to be seen. Whata ya guys think? Catfish
Would you have to drop Garrard to pick up Vick? I don’t think I’d do that at this juncture. If not, who else would you be considering dropping? I'm not so sure Vick would get the starting nod in week three if 5 could not go.
rehab
Vick was never a good FF QB and is probably even a worse pick at this point in time. I would stay away from vick. What about Collins, Orton, or even S.Hill? All those guys put up semi decent numbers that will be better than anythng Vick puts up. McNabb will be back, so dont dump him yet!! Catfish
This just in, they signed Jeff Garcia to further muddle the Waters.
dustin20
I wasn't planning on dropping McNabb...I think he has a really good upside this year with his new weapons and a very good o-line. I wasn't planning on starting Vick this week since he is still suspended...I figure I'm stuck with Garrard....Stafford, Hill, and Pennington are the only reasonable backups ont he ww and like I said I think they are as good of options as Garrard. I'll probably end up holding and hope that McNabb can be back by week three although I was reading he thinks he may be able to return this week cause he doesn't feel that bad....but I don't think they will endanger their franchise qb like that. Catfish
Garrard is a better FF quarterback than any of the others you have mentioned, including Vick right now.

I have Vick on the roster but am not going to add Garcia and/or Kolb. I have Flacco as my backup and will use him and pray. Really stinks because the Eagles next 4-6 weeks are a great stretch and I got McNabb specifically for WCOFF because he usually is money the first 8 weeks of the season and getting off to a good start is crucial in WCOFF (playoffs are decided after week 11).
