2nice
I am in a 6pt td league and I was high on carson palmer on the draft, now I am really worried about him and I think I am ready to squash that bug before it ruins my chances this year! I just got offered Carlson and Hasselbeck for witten... and orton as a throw in. First off, is it just me or could carlson of 09 be the witten of 08? That within itself could make the trade be good-heh? Then to also get hasselbeck when i am currently starting palmer is even more incentive. First off, what are your thoughts about seattle this year although their o-line is banged down? Secondly, can i really go wrong with this trade?....the guy wants witten cuz he want the romo witten 1,2 punch.
SLGRAF
I would not make that trade. Carlson is not in Witten's class yet, and, I don't see Hass being a big QB upgrade over your combo of Palmer, and an eventually healthy Orton, considering the talent of the former, and the weapons that the latter will be throwing to. macmax
Hasselbeck has a long history of not being a guy who throws to tight ends on a regular basis and has lots of options in Seattle.
BRM
stay with what you got. Carson Palmer may come around bigger than you think. Only Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have more TD passes since 2005 than Carson Palmer.
