macmax
I am being offered Portis for Lynch straight up ... any concerns? To me, its a no brainer. I get Portis and can use him for 11 out of 12 remaining games. I give Lynch and rid myself of his suspension and the 9 games I could only use him in. Is there anything about Portis that is a RED FLAG?!! Thanks!
Footballjoe
Portis may lose some 3rd down touches but many RB's do. I like Portis but I am a Redskin Homer. I would do the deal.
macmax
I am reading that Portis is already feeling tired after 16 carries, feeling like he's rushed 25-30 times. Did the Giants just hit him hard or something? Or is he wearing down faster than expected? Am I not going to be able to count on him? Its not like I love Marshawn Lynch's offensive line either, but Fred Jackson there did well on SNF. Also ... Jackson might steal lynch's carries when Lynch returns, no? This deal is on the table for me and I just have to accept ... something tells me Portis' owner isnt too high on him this year but I love the matchup this week against the rams. macmax
Does anyone else have any opinions if I should do this trade? Its Marshawn Lynch for Clinton Portis straight up. My league rules and team are in my signature. Thanks everyone!
samparker53
I'd definitely do it. Fred Jackson looked great in his last game. If he keeps playing like that, Marshawn will have to earn his #1 spot back, it won't be a given.
