SpinalTapp
Before the season started, Forte was a MUCH more attractive back than Turner in a PPR league. However, Forte has gotten off to a terribly slow start (as you well know). This guy is banking on Forte rebounding and becoming the strong PPR stud he is supposed to be. He is also hoping you will dump Forte in a sell off. Bottom line is...in a PPR league, Forte on paper is still a better option than Turner over a 16 game season. Sadly, games are not played on paper and through two games, Forte has sucked. So - do you believe Weeks 1 and 2 were Forte and Cutler working the kinks out vs tough Defenses or a glimpse into what Forte will produce for 16 Weeks? Obviously, PPR or not, you would rather have Turner than Forte if Forte continues to play like he has. Get out your crystal ball and make your decision on this trade accordingly. Goomba
I hear you guys and understand what your telling me. Let me rephrase the problem. Someone out there give me a reason (based on the first two weeks performances) why I should NOT pull the trigger on this trade. I know Forte's ability but the longer I wait on him, the deeper the hole!!
Samson
For my money, both are over-rated. Both performed amazingly last year, but past performance does not guarantee future results as they say. Both are in situations where the fundamentals (offensive talent, rushing schedules) are different than last year. Both also have more game tape out there for opposing defenses to study. With that said, I expect Forte to outperform Turner for the rest of the season.
