kicker conspiracy
In Yahoo standard league, not PPR. Starting 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 DEF. No Flex position. My choices for WR are Greg Jennings, CAR Steve Smith, Hakeem Nicks and Austin Collie. I'm pretty settled on starting Jennings (I also have Aaron Rodgers at QB), but need help choosing between Nicks, Smith and Collie. I want to start Steve Smith at home against a BAD Buffalo team with all of its starting secondary out. It seems like a good matchup for him. However, the 1 catch / 4 yards performance last week as well as how the Jets dominated Buffalo on the ground last week has me spooked. My second choice is Collie as the Rams are obviously horrible. My thinking is that I don't need to hit a home run - I just want solid, predictable production (7-10 points), and Collie is more likely to deliver than Smith or Nicks. What do you guys think?
